Quest Autism Day Program is now open and accepting applications for admissions. We are currently conducting intakes and in-person program tours by appointment only. Please see below for FAQs regarding our intake process and program openings.

What services are provided at QAP for full-time participants?

  • Day Habilitation

  • Supported Employment (Contingent upon appropriate fit for participant
    and availability of the job site) 

  • Multi-passenger transportation within our catchment area

  • Community Based Supports (After hours- Contingent on staff availability)

  • Individual Supports (After hours- Contingent on staff availability)

What are the hours of operation for QAP?

Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Quest is closed for 2 weeks during the year (December and July) as well as some federal holidays and staff training days.

How do you pay for QAP services?

Services are reimbursed through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities In order to receive Division services, individuals are responsible to apply, become eligible for, and maintain Medicaid eligibility.

What is the age range you are accepting into the program?

QAP provides service to individuals 21 years of age and older who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. There is no age cap.

What is QAP’s acceptance process?

Acceptance is based on several factors including:

  • Appropriate peer match

  • The clinical capacity of the program to meet the individuals IFSP and our ability to make meaningful progress.

  • Staffing and program capacity

Do individuals have an option for the number of days/weeks they can attend?

Currently, QAP is only accepting individuals seeking a full-time program (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM).

What is the staffing ratio?

Staffing ratios are based upon individual needs and program capacity. It is important to note that QAP is not structured to provide 1:1 individualized support.

What will a typical day look like?

Our day program may include a combination of services such as day habilitation, supported employment, and pre-vocational training. Within the day habilitation program, participants also have opportunities to build safety awareness, practice daily living skills, exercise at local gym, engage in volunteer opportunities, and take part in leisure activities as part of their daily routine.

Does QAP provide meals?

Participants must bring their own food and beverages.

What determines your acceptance to the program?

When an opening becomes available, the clinical and admissions team determines acceptance by evaluating all intake forms.
